Join the aspiring mage, Maria, as she strives to overcome 3 different trials to prove her worth. Each trial tests a different aspect a mage should strive to be, and rewards a different spell depending on the level completed.

Role: 2D & 3D Artist

As a 2D artist, my biggest role was to design the main character, Maria, and create promotional artwork for the game.

As a 3D artist, my biggest role was to model, texture, rig, and animate Maria. 

Reflection

Trials of Arcane taught me that taking on new roles, skills, and stepping outside your comfort zone encompasses a lot of courage that, looking back on this project, was a good starting point for me. I've learned to appreciate the efforts put into rigging and animating a character to be as smooth as possible in movement and the way the limbs bend. I've come to better understand what it takes to create higher quality assets for the future.
