Killer Karnival (WIP)

You are in a run-down carnival at night, being chased by several clowns. You need to go through the puzzles throughout the carnival and escape before one of the clowns kill you.

Team Size: 11 People

Role: 3D Environmental Artist

As a 3D environmental artist, my task is to model, UV, texture, and implement high-fidelity assets that blend into the environment of the carnival. In the beginning, I had little to no grasp on textures, but later on I was able to learn more about UV unwrapping and texturing properly.

Reflection

This is, without a doubt, the most ambitious game project I've worked on. From the workload, to the scope of the game, to the details and visuals in the environment, this is the kind of hard effort I expect to do in a project. I've better appreciated the sense of communicating a lot more with other members in a group I'm in, and making sure no one is lost. This is exactly what I expect going into the gaming industry. It'll make the end product all the more worthwhile.
